Non-Invasive Flow and Heat Measurement for a Wide Range of Liquid Applications

The BWB Instruments Wall-Mounted Ultrasonic Flow Meter provides accurate, non-invasive volumetric flow measurement for a wide range of liquids across industrial, utility, and energy applications. The transmitter and transducer install separately, with the transmitter mountable on a wall, instrument cabinet, or dashboard, and the transducer clamped or inserted directly onto the pipe without cutting or draining the line.

Compatible with an optional temperature sensor for heat flow measurement, the meter is suitable for production monitoring, water balance testing, thermal equilibrium network commissioning, and energy monitoring across running water, heating, water conservation, metallurgy, chemical, machinery, and energy applications.

Available in three sensor configurations — clamp-on, insertion, and pipeline type — to suit different pipe materials, sizes, and installation conditions.

Benefits

  • Non-invasive clamp-on installation requires no pipe cutting, no process shutdown, and no pressure loss, making it ideal for retrofits and temporary measurement
  • Extremely wide pipe size range from DN15 to DN6000 mm using selectable transducer models, covering small instrumentation lines through to large distribution mains
  • Heat flow measurement capability when paired with optional PT100 temperature sensors, suitable for thermal energy monitoring and HVAC applications
  • Long-term data logging with automatic storage of cumulative flow history, power events, and meter status, supporting process auditing and energy reporting
  • Explosion-proof transmitter option available for hazardous area installation
  • RS485 and MODBUS interface for direct integration with SCADA, DCS, and building management systems
  • SD card data storage option enables independent data logging and offline analysis without connection to a control system
